Zen Nightclub Fire

At 4:27 p.m., February 14, Birmingham Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at the Zen Nightclub, located at 2025 Morris Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found fire shooting from the attic.

The fire, which was blamed on a welder's torch, was quickly extinguished.

The club had been slated to open that night, but is now closed indefinitely.
