The Hoover Police Department announced Friday that they have added a beautiful new piece of equipment to their already fine cache of crime fighting tools. A Porsche Carrera, which was seized on the Interstate two years ago with 10 kilograms of cocaine hidden inside two side compartments.
Chief Derzis said the car, which can reach speeds of 185mph, will be used for special events and DARE operations.
Congratulations to the Hoover Police Department and the City of Hoover in the acquisition of such a fine piece of equipment! Job well done.

Is it just a show car or patrol.It would be a speeder's nightmare on 459!
From what I understand, it won't be used as a patrol car. I wouldn't want to be the one to find out I was wrong, though.
