Hoover Firefighters Drop Off Donated Toys at the State Capitol Today

MONTGOMERY - Governor Bob Riley greeted firefighters from the Hoover Fire Department as they dropped off toys donated for children at the Capitol today. The firefighters will arrived with a truck and trailer full of toys donated as part of the Fifth Annual Christmas Toy Drop drive coordinated by Operation Grateful Heart and the Hoover Fire Department. The donated toys are provided to children of deployed military families, as well as for disadvantaged children who have been identified through charitable organizations.

Thank you to all the Hoover Firefighters who took part in this meaningful drive. I know the city of Hoover is proud of you and your efforts.
