Wild Homewood MVA
Homewood Fire & Rescue
Battalion Chief Mardis with Birmingham Fire & Rescue happened to be at the Food World in Homewood, Sunday, when the following MVA occurred. It's not every day that you see that.
Thanks for the great shots, Chief!

Anybody want to explain how this possibly could have happened? -JSW
Sure JSW, they put the gearshift in "R" instead of "D", is my guess.
But the car is facing forward and there isn't a slot in front of it. It looks like someone got pissed off that someone else beat them to a spot and they tried to ram their car. Unintended consequences theory in full effect.
WTF!!!!!! Hard to explain this one. No damage to either the front of top car or the rear of the bottom car.
That redefines "double parked"
EH
seriously this one is cake. car in reverse, jumps curb with running start, climbs bumper and slides up front of car.
