Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10am at Jefferson Memorial with a Firefighter's Funeral which will include a procession to his final resting place at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale. The route will take Chief Jarrell past Irondale City Hall.
God rest his soul and comfort his family and friends. He will be missed.

I worked with Jimmy on few calls while with Hank's, and during a few special events at the civic center. Really nice guy. May he rest in peace.

Dave, Thank you so much for what you have created for my dad. Jimmy Jarrell was my dad and he was a great man and loved so much what he did. He missed the fire dept so much and missed doing for others like he did in the fire dept. He never stopped though he always was there for whom ever needed help. My name is Todd Jarrell and wanted to thank you so much for what you have done for my dad and many like him.

My brother-in-law is Todd Jarrell, Jimmy Jarrell's son. I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful pictures of his funeral. For those of us who were unable to be there, but heard such wonderful stories about how beautiful it was, it is wonderful to see these pictures! His service was very touching. Jimmy was an wonderful man and he will be missed terribly! Please continue to keep his family in your prayers!
