Vinemont-Providence Apparatus
Vinemont-Providence Fire & Rescue
Lane Pair sent the following pictures of the Vinemont-Providence Fire & Rescue apparatus. Vinemont-Providence is located approximately 5 miles North of the City of Cullman on HWY 31. (Stations map)
The VPFD is rated a Class 3/4. In the Town of South Vinemont (where station 2 is) is rated a single rating 3, and in the county (Providence Area) is rated a single class 4, which gives us a 3/4 rating. During the day there are two paid firefighters and during the evening it's all volunteers. The department currently has 5 paid firefighters and around 30 volunteers.
Thank you for sharing the information and pictures, Lane!
