BFRS 2 Alarm House Fire
Birmingham Fire & Rescue
Birmingham Firefighters responded to a 2-alarm house fire in the 300 blk of 12th St. S.W. A quick jump on the fire, as well as fast work by Birmingham's Bravest, protected near-by exposures from certain danger.
Great job!
A special thank you to Captain Mardis for sharing these pictures!

They called for a two alarm on that?
the only thing that was dispatched on the second alarm was another engine and truck. the fire was hidden in a void space
When you fight 2 and 3 working fires a shift, and mix in 10-15 Medical calls, its nice to have a few extra bodies....but then again, whoever said "they called for a second alarm for that", obviously sits on his behind all day and calls himself a Firefighter...
Not to mention the fact that the first alarm crews had spent the hours just prior to this fire fighting a large woods fire off Industrial Blvd.
Chief Tim Love is my hero!!!
